Delete your ShieldKin account

You can delete your ShieldKin account and its data at any time.

In the app

1. Open ShieldKin and go to Account.
2. If you want a copy first, tap Download my data.
3. Tap Delete my account, then Delete my account for good.
4. Confirm it is you: enter your password, or sign in again with Google or Apple if you don’t use one.

What is deleted, straight away

Your account and sign-in, health details and medical ID, every reading, alerts, wristband and ring pairings, your circle links and your consents.

What is kept

Security records of actions, such as the deletion itself. They do not contain your readings.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in your store’s subscription settings.

Can’t open the app?

Email privacy@shieldkin.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will check it is you and delete the account within 30 days.

If you are a carer, deleting your account removes you from the circles you were in. The people you looked after keep their own accounts.
